The COVID Pandemic

Coronavirus or the COVID pandemic also known as COVID 19 was a new type of respiratory virus, and the first human case occurred in Wuhan, Hubei province, China. Scientists worked hard to understand the origin of the virus. According to the World Health Organization, the coronavirus or COVID 19 originated in animals but was transmitted from person to person.
Globalization played a central role in shaping the course of the pandemic, as the amount of movement between countries endogenously affects trade and mobility costs.

Globalization had increased human contact and movement between regions and caused diseases to spread rapidly around the world. Looking back at 2020-2021, it was a time when in-person events and normal social interactions were lost. Plans had been canceled, life events had been missed, and time with friends and family had been lost due to physical distancing and isolation.

On the positive side, forced slowness had given me the opportunity to acquire new hobbies such as introspection, self-development, listening to music, and journaling. Spend more time with loved ones and appreciating life in general. Considering the difficulties experienced we overcame during this period, perseverance and flexibility were considered a source of strength and pride for humanity.
